Just mentioned this motor in ES thread about ebikes mentioned in "non-ebike" publications, but thought I might chuck it elsewhere on ES (the other thread... mentions about ebikes these days sorta overwhelming... hehe)

45 km/h on an e-bike frame
With the M25GTS motor generation, Tranz X designed a drivetrain solution for modern s-pedelecs. It can be integrated into e-bike frames.

The drivetrain solution has a noise emission of about 70 decibel, even with the higher power output. The motor generates a maximum torque of 70 Nm with its 400 W. This output gives a maximum speed of 45 km/h before the electronic speed limit unit is automatically engaged. The motor can be integrated into the frame design of modern s-pedelecs with center motors.

The city e-bike Radar Speed, manufactured by Winora, is an example for the impact of a smaller motor on the overall e-bike design: the motor is nearly invisible and with 4,08 kg weight the M25GTS turns the Radar Speed into one of the lighter e-bikes in its category.

The center motor comes with Tranz X’s Logi X-technology. Tranz X first introduced its digital communications system Logi X in 2014 and has constantly developed it ever since. Based on the CAN technology, the manufacturers’ own product communication system offers a diagnostic software that checks the motor performance. The company will show its products at the Eurobike fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany from August 31 to September 4, 2016 (hall A6 booth 406).
