Tri-polar lead cobalt batteries

I read about this a long time ago, and met the company's president (Bob Aronsson) at a conference in 2006, though we were talking fuel cells for the most part. These are very interesting people (if a bit eccentric).

I don't know any battery people personally, so I think it would be nice to pass this along and start a discussion. Thoughts on this battery, at least as far as the chemistry and claims listed?
