TSDZ2 - can you drop the double-clutch TSDZ2B main gear into an old TSDZ2?

Assuming the TSDZ2 original is the helix gear version.

I want to find out if anybody has tried before I take an AUD$100 gamble?

You won't be able to bolt the TSDZ2 spider to the TSDZ2B main gear, the holes placement has changed.

From what I read that you can't just change the main gear alone. You could buy a "update kit" and change the few things, with spider and cover,
