Does it count that I'm on to building my second ebike if the first one fails completely? With the rear disk brake the wheel won't fit in the back of the bike. Guess now that I have to start searching for a new frame or new bike to turn into an electric bike. Any suggestions or frames that make a better start? Thanks! Also anyone want to buy a Redline Monocog? Never ridden too hard or turned into an ebike!

Don't suppose this will work?

Have a 21 Speed Mongoose Domain Mountain Street Bicycle for sale. It's like brand new, barely rode it. Tires are like new and looks great. It's silver black and red, very sporty, paid a lot more so this is a great deal.

We are combining households and have to sell a few things. Everything is in Excellent Working Clean Condition (MANY ITEMS BRAND NEW) from clean home in Round Rock. I'll be listing various furniture and appliances and home decor items. If you want to see all the items I have for sale type in my phone number in the search option and that should bring all the items I have listed up.

forget it. I paid $50 for a mongoose like that. I decided the built quality was so bad that I cut the frame up rather than give it to charity. It had rust spots in the welds on an aluminum frame. The front fork came apart when I tried to remove the wheel. the brake pad hung up and when I yanked on the wheel to remove it, it took the whole lower end with it. Dangerous levels of crap.

And I believe Walmart sells that model mongoose new for $119

You're better off with something like http://austin.craigslist.org/bik/2964093885.html although I bet you can find better, that was a 30 second search.

Thanks!

If I'm going to eventually want a custom frame and some of the best upgraded parts should I just get a cheap bike for now. That $150 bike seems like a great deal, or should I get something like this $300 Kona Caldera? The Kona seems to have some really great parts for the price. http://austin.craigslist.org/bik/3030924272.html

Could you explain what you mean by it having a rear disk brake and having to build my own mount? The bike I build will have a rear disc brake so won't that make the switch easier? Thanks for the help!
