I want to buy a charger and during browsing Hobby King website I have found the following models I would be interested in, but need more information about them.

Can somebody that owns a Turnigy Reaktor 250W charger please confirm this:
1. Is it possible to connect the charger via USB port to a PC and run LogView program to observe charging charts?
2. Does it really have the possibility to adjust LiIo, LiPo, LiFe end-of-charge voltage (Termination Voltage) and end-of-discharge voltage, like iCharger 106B does? It seems that a 300W model does that but is it also true for the 250W model?

Can somebody that owns a Turnigy Smart 6 charger please write the exact range for "Professional User Only" settings for Termination Voltage Control (TVC) (aka Adjustable cut-off) for charge and discharge functions of LiPo, LiIo and LiFe batteries. I have read the whole manual and those information are missing.

It seems that the Turnigy Accucell 6 also has TVC but with a very limited range (for example minimal cut-off voltage for LiPo is 4.18V) so I am not interested in it.

Which one would you recommend (the price is about the same, around 45 Euros in EU Warehouse) and why?
Do you have other recommendations in that price range (prefferably in EU, to lower the shipping costs)?

Sorry for my English, it is not my native language.

Thanks!

For the best answers, I suggest you go to the Radio Controlled Modeler forums where those model chargers are more commonly used.

i just got two reaktor 250w from hobbyking. $24 each

yes they take mini-USB. logview works fine.

yes you can adjust LiFe, LiIo, LiPo, Pb termination voltages. e.g. LiPo can be adjusted up to 4.30v only. won't go higher

regenerative discharge also works. it's a clone of the icharger 106b+

Thank you for your answers!

The prices on HK are usually quite lower for American market but shipping to Europe would be quite expensive.
So apparently would be cheaper to order from EU warehouse. I will double check on that.

Btw, I was interested to go lower not higher on charging voltage (like 4.10-4.15V) and also to go higher not lower for discharging voltage (like 3.50V) to extend the life of LiPos.

Just reviving this thread as I need a RC LiPo charger to replace the useless Turnigy Mega V2 400W charger I have. I'm on my second one from Hobbyking and it still won't charge accurately. Fully charges my 4S Multistars to 16.80V (charger reading) but if you check with a DMM each cell measures 4.15V! Plus there is no option to limit the end of charge value which I thought it did.

Is it worth trying the Turnigy Reaktor?
