Guys, I have two ebike 48V battery packs that need attention. Please can someone recommend who I go to in the UK to have these looked at and hopefully repaired? Regards, John.

You may have some luck in a local solar energy shop. The batteries they use are very similar.

I'm based in london.. If your pack has 18650 or 21700 cells then I can diagnose/fix them

This is the error symbol that appeared on my KT-LCD8S screen whilst using one of the batteries. It still showed voltage but stopped providing power. I think I will open this one up to take a look. I can then check exactly what batteries I have. I'll report back once I get it apart. Thanks.

I am going to say something daft here, that looks like the brake icon, doe's your bike have brake sensors? If so try unplugging the brake sensors. Nothing wrong I think with the batteries. That's why you have no power as the controller thinks the brakes are on.

Brake sensor, controller thinks brakes are on, have you been in the rain? Assume you have a KT controller, follow brake sensor wires back the controller and unplug see if that clears the problem also have you lost a sensor magnet or has brake sensor moved if they are stick on. Unplug one sensor cable at a time to see if the brake icon disappears then you will know if it's the front or rear brake.
