A unique bike with European motoped stylings, the original had a big battery box housing lead acid, a 250W motor, and 24" wheels. It has been converted to take a 1000W motor, reaches 30mph, and the chemistry has been replaced with an 18650 lithium pack.
This project was originally started with a view to getting a 30mph ebike road legal. The headlight, mirrors, tyres and rear light were all selected to be road legal so this would pass the Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval process, a process I have passed many custom 2 wheelers through over the years. I never got round to passing this one though (if I had I would be selling it for much more money). If you are interested in passing it, I can provide you with a VIN plate, and will wire the rear light so it shines brighter when braking. Or you can just ride it around your own land (or chance it on the street like everyone does).
The bike has many rust spots and rust on the forks above the suspension travel. Please see pictures. It also needs new mudguard stays on the front mudguard. But otherwise it is fully working, comes with a charger, and has lots of charming features, like the rear box, removable battery with key switch (comes with two sets of keys), centre stand, chainguard, and sprung seat.
Unfortunately it is located on the Isle of Wight, but I am willing to transport it to Portsmouth, Southampton, or Lymington (or any of their surrounding areas) at my expense for collection. If money were my chief concern here, I could part out it out for delivery in the mail and make quite a bit more money, but I very much want someone to enjoy it again.
