Ultimate eFat needs a bigger custom battery box.

A couple of years ago I built what I think is a pretty nice bike for riding the nearby dunes here in coastal Oregon. It's an ICAN SN04 full-suspension, carbon frame fatty with a CYC X1 Pro Gen 4 mid-drive and a 72 v battery. Lotsa power for playing in the sand but the only problem is the 10.5 ah battery runs out of juice too quickly. So my son is 3d printing a custom battery box to better utilize the triangle space available which I'll fill with 18650s or 21700s. Here's my question: I'd like some 2-piece slip mount for the battery box using a male/female configuration that could use the existing mount points on the frame. I see plenty of base plates for sale on the web but none of the corresponding plates that are incorporated in the boxes. Any ideas?

Sorry I don't have any suggestions on a good quick mount that you can buy. I'm actually in the market/trying to design one for myself. However, if your battery takes up all the space in the frame like you've drawn in red, then it won't be able to move in the normal way that batteries connect to their base plates, so it would have to come in from the side. It's probably easiest to just secure it with velcro like you've been doing and plug the cable in.
