Looking at the ratings I'd say the risk isn't higher than with any other lithium ion battery pack. I was also impressed that the manufacturer didn't lie about the cells being a Chinese brand. Treat it with the same caution you should use anyway (don't charge while it's very hot or very cold, don't store fully charged, etc) and you should be ok. Can you link to the piece about them exploding?
 
I can't say what happened from that video. One possibility did occur to me: that the breakers he mentioned had a defect that caused one of them to short. Or the pack may have been seriously defective. Or some other thing went wrong. I find it a small red flag that he keeps promoting one other brand of battery, but then hey - they didn't, as he noted, explode...
 
Should be fine. That YouTube guy was running 2 packs in parallel with a sketchy circuit which probably caused the issue.

The main thing with Chinese cells is cycle life- they aren’t quite as good.

If you’re really concerned then just don’t leave it charging unattended and always turn off the charger at night.
