Hi All,
Been tooting around on my Chinese Kit Build for just under 120km and I'm sick of the SW900.
- It's noisy (SHHHHHHH)
- P10 is inoperative. you can change it to 0,1 or 2 but all you ever get is 2
- Can only read 999w
- It's "clunky", lacking in elegance.
There's probaly more short-comings that I'm not aware of yet.
So what might be my options?
I've got a 48v Batt and what I'm told is a 2000w direct drive motor.
I'd like to have bluetooth for some security.

Any ideas?

You’ll need to swap out your controller as well. What are the specs of your battery?

Hailong 48v 20ah no BMS output
If the specs don't provide how much current the pack is capable, or the cells used, then let's just assume it's made with generic Chinese cells and can output 30A peak.

Just search on a 30A sine wave controller (noise is due to the controller, not the display), with a matching display (purchased as a pair/set). Not sure what bluetooth has to do with security. Maybe elaborate.

If you had more battery, then you could get something that can power a 2000W motor, but if it's good enough now, then you could just stick with what you got.

works with phone proximity locking display when out of range.
I don't like that anybody with knowledge could turn on the bike even though it's physically locked.
I'm not sure which wire to put a kill switch on or the voltage of the wire.
If I knew that I could add an Arduino with an RFID reader.

Why must they be bought as a match?
I see several being sold separate both display and contoller.
Don't you just match up specs?

Copy and paste from my FAQ, since it's been typed a dozens of times, since it's a regular topic/question:

Displays from different brands are not usually compatible. Even displays that are the same brand as a controller don't guaranty compatibility, due to firmware variations**, so purchasing the controller with the display will provide better assurance of compatibility. Some display manufacturers can support different controller brands, provided they are flashed with compatible firmware.
Common Display to Controller Manufacturer Compatibility (actual compatibility may be dictated by firmware):
