Freeing up garage space. I'm selling this decent, modestly powered bike for a pretty low price. Basically I'd prefer it to go to a person who needs a bike and can handle some DIY maintenance versus just breaking it down for parts.
The Bike: The bike started its life as a ~2017 Raleigh Redux iE. It came to me without a battery. I designed and built a replacement battery (3D printed enclosure, Hobby King LiPo pouch packs inside). Everything ran perfectly like it was stock, but as I finished up the build I did the dumbest thing ever and swapped (+) for (-), frying the stock electronics. To revive it I gave it a Castle Creations HV-160 ESC and a Cycle Analyst V3 for brains. It now operates via a cadence sensor on the crank, and/or hand throttle on the right grip.
Price: I mainly want this bike to have a good home and a nice life. I have like $800 invested in the DIY battery alone, plus countless hours designing & building the battery enclosure. Then add in the CAv3 and HV-160… Whelp, DIY e-bike stuff is a hobby and I know it. I'm fine with selling the bike at a huge loss because I know it's really not worth that much.

- The bike label says it's a size "Medium"
- I am 5'10", 30" inseam, and the bike feels just a bit big for me.
- Mechanical drivetrain: a 1-by derailleur setup, with 48t chainring and 12-32 cassette.
- Tektro hydraulic disc brakes front & rear.
- Ride-feel wise, it's a pretty nice bike. Take the battery out and it is a competent (though kinda heavy) all-around bike you can ride for 10s of miles at a time.
- the last few years I've been super into pedal-only biking. My use-case for this bike has been to leave a set of studded snow tires on it, and in the winter use it for a commuter bike where the electric power makes up for the higher effort & lower speed required to bike through snow & with big knobby snow tires.
- Lights front & rear work, and are always-on when the battery is on.

- I live in the Greater Boston (Massachusetts, USA) area and I will not ship it.
- It comes without a charger. I charge the battery with a Grin Cycle Satiator which I am keeping for other bikes.
