I like the current rating on the first controller, and the price seems to be pretty good as well. The wiring hookup makes sense to me, as opposed to the ka-jillion wires coming out of "normal" e-bike motor controllers. Why are there seven sets of leads on other controllers, for example? What are they all for? I can only think of three-- batteries, motor, throttle. And the throttle, as I understand it, is only a fancified potentiometer, with a nice handlebar grip-mounting.
Can someone tell me which controller I should get? And explain about the 7 leads, perhaps? Thanks!
