Mainly I'm wondering what use the computer is once you boot, I assume this comes with a browser or word processor, or is there ANYTHING you can do?

It's just a flavor of Linux installed on a USB flash drive. Not worth $35.

You'd be able to use a browser and any other Linux program that was included on it. But you won't be running any of your Windows programs. Probably you could access your Windows data files.

If you install Puppy Linux onto a cheap flash drive and select the option to load it all into memory when starting it up, your PC will start Linux programs almost instantly when you click on them.
