Using two different motors/gear ratios on same longboard

Up until yesterday I was running a dual rear 10S setup with 6354-260kv motors. I then burnt out one of those motors.

I have another brushless motor lying around that is a 6374-170kv motor.

Has anyone tried running two different motors/gear ratios on their board at the same time? Maybe this could provide both high torque for the low end and also allow for higher top speeds?

Wouldn't be great for the long term, but I guess you technically could run a different gearing on the motors so they have the same (2-3% difference) wheel speed. Might be better running the single 6374 motor though, they can survive solo.
