Hi, finally got my Ant BMS to have connectivity with an Android phone via the VBMS app.
I need help, however. Some of the terminology is cryptic. For example , "Equilibrium monomer pressure difference" . Is there a secret decoder ring for this stuff ? Also I'd like to understand the use of "single-Overvoltage recovery" , "Tire length per week ", and the difference between what they call 'alarm' and 'protection'
I get it that 'pressure' is voltage. Funny how sometimes they do use the word voltage in the parameters.
How does one activate the charge and discharge FET's ? Maybe there is a newer version of an App I can use ? this one seems to be 1.0. which I downloaded from a link presented on this forum. So sad they can't consult with a good English<>Chinese translator.
Oh, yes, I did read the massive Bluetooth BMS thread, and did get bits of information there. Thanks.

"Equilibrium monomer pressure difference"
a guess: "allowable balancing voltage difference", meaning (possibly) how much difference does the bms allow between cells before it restarts balancing.

or perhaps how much difference it allows before it shuts off the output of the pack to protect the cells. (probably not)

the difference between what they call 'alarm' and 'protection'

alarm is probably a notification, so you can decide what to do, and protection is probably just automatically shutting off.

no useful ideas on the other stuff.

Same sort of language, maybe related
