Hi,
I have had now a couple of electric bikes in my hands, ranging from 250W to up to 6kW. Usually they get just converted to a swap system (which is not that exciting), but sometimes the cow should fly and the rides get dual battery systems or a $200 toy gets converted to an 800W system. However, now there is a nice 3 wheeler in front of me (looks 1:1 like a Bajaj!) and my Votol EM-150 does not fit in that thing. Well, space is enough, but the motor claims to be vector controlled (whatever this means), not HAL sensor controlled. In other words, the cable with the sensor has only 4 pins, not 5. Anyone any clue about that vector thing? I know that some diesel use crankshaft position sensors. Is that something similar?
The current blackbox is a Slider Power SDJ-3KW. I have already written to the manufacturer, but I assume this will take some time until I get any response from them...
