OK, Let us see how far back DIY electric bicycles go. Here is where you can post those dusty old snapshots and the older the better. Do you have any specifics - voltage, motor source, Battery type....

Two 12v AGM batteries and a wheelchair motor. Cannot remember where I found the controller. Steel framed Schwinn.
