Want to know required parts (Besides motor and controller)

I'm very new to electric scooters. I had one a long time ago, that I stopped riding. I found it, so I decided to take it apart because the batteries didn't work and didn't want to replace them.
I still have the motor and controller in one piece, but I'm missing some parts... Well, alot of parts. I wanted to build an electric office chair just for fun because I have the motor, but I'm not sure what else I need before I can put it together. I can do the mounting, but I don't know what other things I need besides the throttle; and I don't really know which harness that is... My motor is a currietech 400w 22A model YKD-6D something. Controller: XK-022A 24v 30A dc controller.
I do have basic knowledge about these things, but not enough to rebuild one. I do need a new fuse and fuse holder though.
Thanks for any help I'm provided in advance, I'll put up pictures if this gets done.

Here's a quick easy reference on that. A pair of kits that I bought. http://leafbike.com/products/diy-bike-conversion-kit/20-inch-electric-hub-motor-kit/updated-20-inch-48v-1500w-rear-hub-motor-bike-conversion-kit-986.html If you see it in the pic or see it listed as a component, there's a good chance you need one. http://www.yescomusa.com/products/26in-rear-hub-electric-bicycle-motor-conversion-kit-48v-1000w

You'll need a 5 pin throttle, such as: http://tncscooters.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=65_79_82&product_id=84

Wiring diagram: http://www.electricscooterparts.com/hookup/SPD-SD400.htm

That should get you started. Maybe you'll have more specific questions later.

That wiring diagram was more than helpful. I can learn from diagrams, I had nothing to go off of to learn from looking at the components. I wouldn't have thought that a brake component went into the controller, and I wasn't sure weather the other wire was for something to do with charging... You helped more than you know.
I really don't have anything but a mauled array of wire, that I don't feel like soldering back together, and I have lost parts so... A motor and controller are what I'm willing to work with; the rest I want new.
Thankfully, I had the thought to not cut below the wiring adapters, so that's something I don't need to worry about unless I need to get adapters for different parts. I still have the brake, power to motor, battery connection, 5 pin throttle, and the other wire which I'm sure is the charging cutoff. On that note, I don't see anything that would cut off current for charging. Does the controller do that, or am I missing a part? I have the connector for it.
All of this game out of an ezip 400. I also have some parts (Engine controller wire connections and more) from one of the razor pocket mod (Says "Chrissy" on the back, got it free).
The wiring is different but similar... Trying to get a grip on what the wires are. Maybe I can find another diagram for this one.
