So I am using an MBS COMP95 deck, I want to be able to use a tail to lift front and turn, which means I need a deck that is:

a) shorter
b) has angled ends to mount MBS MB trucks (flat wont turn, obviously--have to cant somehow)
c) has enough tail to lift front end

Has anyone seen anything like this? The Homemade version would basically be a short, maybe youth sized mountainboard deck with an angled plate bolted on top at the back end extending about a 10 or 12 inches out past the end--a tail.

this may be the easiest solution: move and mount the trucks using these on the flat part of the deck (green/top line, 15 deg angle)

If all you want is to make your current MTB board turn tighter, try these:

1. Put MBS ATS skate trucks in front instead of MATRIX or VECTOR. Use soft bushings.

2. Put the springs in your rear MATRIX truck in the inside position. This will make it more responsive.

3. Max your front tire's air pressure. This creates a smaller contact patch and less resistance, making them turn easier.

4. Use MBS T3 instead of Roadie or Knobby tires. The Roadie is just too grippy while the Knobby is better for loose dirt.

5. Use Rockstar Pro hubs for stiffer and better handling.

6. Use really, really, really gritty griptape, like Blood Orange.
