for those not familiar with the movie, get it. bob is an unstable mental patient who expects his therapist to help him; on vacation or not. bill murray's finest role.

personally i gave up on the idea therapists were saner than i long ago.

my story is much more simple. we have been helping people in california with fire recovery and my wife is still down there with my truck and her horse trailer. i hate driving her little ford ranger when i am used to my monster 4wd chevy. i can't go anywhere my dog and i want with only 2wd (life's a bitch ain't it?).

anyway, i have let some emails go unanswered and will try to catch up. my website is down right now but it will be back up soon. i will be ordering 4110 fets soon so anybody who has been waiting to get in on that order mail me at bobmcree@wildblue.net

Bill Murray's finest role, better than Stripes, Ghostbusters, or Caddyshack. My personal favorite will always be Caddyshack though, since I lived it. I actually lived in the mower barn, and spent nights hunting gophers with a 12 guage shotgun, and some of that other stuff. Some of the guys that ran the country club were amazingly similar to the movie jerks. Eventually they fired me. 3 months later most of the greens had died.

Good movie. For my money Stripes is the end all be all.

I mean, the mud wrestling seen with Dave Thomas and the Spinners blaring in the background. Doesn't get any better than that.

One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary."- Ayn Rand, 1975

i would ask people who read the ayn rand quote to see "capitalism; a love story" and see how well capitalism is working for us. a privately owned company reaches the equilibrium where they make adequate profit and provide a quality product, but once we introduce parasites like the grandkids of coal barons who made their money with no effort and who just reap profits without contributing anything but capital these insatiable greedy passive investors destroy the balance. AIG is the best example. they broke the financial system but the principals are still sucking down the beluga caviar and living in luxury, while the taxpayers below them who live honestly will be paying for generations for them to live their lives of luxury at levels we will never see; partly because we will be paying every day for their comfort.

I could watch "Groundhog Day' once a year for the rest of my life. But as for therapists...

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Only one...but the lightbulb has to WANT to change.

you might be right that groundhog day is his best work. i chose the title with some bias, since my name and his character's is the only 3 letter palindrome that also exhibits vertical symmetry. BOB is not just the same reversed in order but is also the same upside down. This makes my avatar bob dobbs the perfect leader of my church, the church of bob. i tried to watch saturday night live last week and i long for the old days when there was some actual comedy and not just stupidity. u2 gave what i thought was their worst performance ever and bono is a clown.

btw i have finished my prelim testing of the new headway lifepo4 cell and the performance is on par with the green lifebatt cells, at a much lower cost. i will post complete curves and results in the group buy thread in the next few days.

bob, why not post it up in dr bass's comparison thread? i tried to interpret the internal resistance number from the original lifebatt test there back then. i guess you already know that lifebatt has bot up all the headway 14Ah cell production.

also, show us a picture of your voltphreaks all stripped of their cases, hanging off the power strip, 'hanging out there' as Cramer said on seinfeld.

that sounds like the right place. i admit i have not been keeping up. the headway cells have the same typical impedance at 1 kHz of 4.5 milliohms that was exhibited by the green lifebatt cells. the newer grey bmi cells are half that. i will refrain from my socialist rant about companies buying up any competition and squashing it.

i'm not sure what you mean by the voltphreaks, is this the 3.65v chargers i got from armin?

I will totally agree with that statement. I have been a loyal SNL viewer most of my life now, and that episode was one of the worst pieces of crap I've ever seen. I hope it improves soon or I may stop watching.
I also thought Bono looked ridiculous.
o yeah, Groundhog Day rules.

I like Groundhog best out of his movies. The love story is cheese, but the rest.. well that's cheese too, but really good cheese. Its not an epic movie or anything, but like SpinMag suggests its as good the 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th viewing as it is the 1st for some reason. Most movies are not like this.
