Re having four of the 4s packs, and wanting a 14s pack,, Id just buy a 2s pack.
Depending on availability of course. Though it may have cost me more at times,, I like to just buy four 6s and two 2s for making up my 14s 10 ah packs. Soft packs, because I care more about the physical size than the case. Then I build a hard enough shell around the whole 14s 10ah block. Others favor the hard packs simply because at times they go on sale crazy cheap.
If not the hardcase,, splitting a pack is not hard though. Once past the case, splitting a pack is not hard.
