What size 26" tire?

It will likely be 1.75". I'd replace it with 2.125" minimum if your frame can take it.

Right on (as usual) 1.75. My frame has 1.95" tires as does the kit.

I used http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html#width

The outer rim width on my Mongoose is 1" or 25.4 mm.

I estimate the rim metal at 2 mm.

According to Sheldon's chart, a 21 mm inner rim was designed for a 1.95" maximum tire in the green zone.

The first red box outside the green zone shows that it should be able to accept the 2.125" tire.

According to Sheldon: "Note: This chart may err a bit on the side of caution. Many cyclists exceed the recommended widths with no problem."

When I get the kit, I will swap off the 1.75 and replace it with the 1.95.

What is the frame limitation for a 2.125", width or height?

I do not ride off roads.

Your thoughts?

The original rims on my Mongoose Ledge 2.1 are 25mm outside and 19mm inside. The difference between outside and inside will always be ~6-7mm. You'll get a lot better performance from a wider rim. It's a tight fit, but I use 32mm inside width rims with 2.4" tires on mine. You should be able to use 2.125" tires on the standard rims, but anything above that and I'd go to a 32mm rim.

Even a 2.0 is good for the street. It's how it fits in your frame. Drop the new motor and tire in the frame to start. Torque arm. Good battery. Don't go to cheap on a battery best to have a plug and play as it's easiest.

Put the torque senser in the draw. Pull or cut the left brame wire and pull the cruise control wire. This is just what I found over time.
Just hook everything up first but be careful of these items. My opinion.
Battery ?
