Ok, I have a battery I want to connect to a ebikes case but not sure what wires go to the base of battery case, and what ones connect to the top of the case to the charger port. I took pix of the battery wires coming from the BMS and battery, and the base is a 2 prong bottom and a 3 prong charger connector. Here are the shots of the case bottom. I think the wires on the battery that connect to the base are the wires in the bottom right of the picture with the BMS, and they connect to the base to run power to the controller. Let me know please if I am correct in this guess.

On the BMS. P- should go to the negative pin on the battery output. C- goes to the negative pin on the charger port. You have nothing on P- and two wires on C-. It will work like this, but you can't get full current thru the C- that way. Move the heavy black wire to P-.

The red wire from the plus end of the cells goes to the positive pin on the battery output, It also goes to the positive pin on the charger port. The charger port may have three pins, but the third pin is like a switch that floats when you push in the charger plug. You have to test it to see which of the two contacts to use.

The top part has 3 wires on the charging plug, 1 orange, 1 yellow, and 1 black with a 10 Amp blade fuse in the connection. There is also the battery meter wired into the charger port that is where the red and black wire go to..The red is connected to orange that's the charger power wire and the yellow I think is like a ground. To test the charger port I connect the charger and use a multi tester I'll have to lookup what settings I have to use. Thanks for the help I am new to the ebike stuff never worked on much electrical bike stuff.

I was thinking of the 5mm barrel connector jack, not your three pin XLR charger plug. Most chargers only use two of those three pins, You should check the charger output and verify the two power wires. I dunno what the yellow wire is used for, unless you have some kind of smart charger, If it is a smart charger, the yellow isn't going to do what the charger wamts to see. You may have to get a 2 wire charger.

That green panel in the first pic is the meter? Does the battery have an on/off switch? Your BMS doesn't have one, so the battery is always going to be powered up. The meter won't draw much power, but it still pulls alittle.

Where did you get this battery core? DId someone else make it, because it is wired wrong without the P- connection in play. Do know if it works? It's only a 15amp BMS. . Will that be enough to run the ebike? And by the way, you have the bare ends of that battery about 1/2 apart from touching and creating a 48V disaster. What's the rest of the battery look like? This might not be a good idea.

There's no guessing when you wire up a battery, Lots of power in those cells so you must be careful to get it all right,
