What is the longest you have ever been up for?

I stayed up for 32 or 36 hours once driving. I drank lots of "Red Bulls" but back then it was called Jolt Cola, 2x or 3x the caffeine. I watched a Netflix show on the internet called Lo and Behold and one segment was on a rehab place called ReStart where people addicted to gaming would go. The councilor was stating how people would stay up for days on end. There is Youtube video's stating people dying in their chairs in gigantic internet cafe's in Asia.

There are fishermen that stay up for days on end catching crab, their payoff's are huge tho, nott so wih gaming... monetarily speaking.

My average is about 16 hours awake, and 8 hours sleep. If I take OTC sleeping aids, I sleep for 10 hours easy, have weird dreams and feel groggy in the morning. I find what helps is taking caffeine pills in the morning, rather then drinking caffeinated drinks, then laying off physical exursion by about supper time, no caffeine or sugar past 4pm. Downfall of course is chocolate milk, but I mix with regular milk but I dont think that matters much because regular white milk has sugar in it, not sure if its added or natural.

When I was younger, I spent 80 hours continuously at work. I wasn't up for 80 hours straight though, I did manage to get 1 hour naps here and there.

When I was younger, 2-1/2 days with an occasional cup of coffee. I only tried because I was curious. When "fasting" became a trend (not "fisting"). I lasted 2-1/2 days then too.

The curious thing was that I became very hungry at my normal meal times, but an hour later? I wasn't hungry anymore. I drank warm water with a couple drops of honey to keep my blood sugar from dropping too low. No energy, and just wanted to watch TV.

Lol same here. When I was 18 I took the Greyhound from P.E.I. to Vancouver in spring when Canadian roads are not in stellar condition. I was awake for nearly 100 hours before I finally fell asleep just west of Calgary. That was probably the longest I've been awake, certainly the longest without any weird drugs being involved.

Yeaaa I can never sleep on the Greyhound either, but I only do Calgary to Vancouver with a layover at a hostel, then take transit to the Ferry and take transit to Victoria, so at most 20+ hours. I have learned tho that you can specify specific stop-overs on the Greyhound which costs like an extra $10 but for me its well worth it if I were to ever do the eastern journey. I know one couple that does Calgary-Ottawa on Greyhound every year because the wife can only drive and she doesnt like it, and the husband can't drive, and doesnt fly. I could never do non-stop day(s) on the bus.
