which are the best 3.7V lithium cells

Yeah, I'm perpetual liar. That's how you get your name in light blue.

I replied, too sarcacticly yes, mentioning lifepo4 which might do 1000 cycles.

Honestly though if you think about it 18650 cells are not competing with hobbyking Rc packs as with 18650 cells
it requires a huge time investment to build a pack properly but with the benefit of best in class energy density
and cell reliability.

Whereas the hobbyking batterys are a ready made solution all you have to do is cycle the packs to check if there ok
then wire them up and put them into a case.

The only beef i have is when people talk about c rate of cells what people fail to forget is that yes you might have
to build a higher capacity battery for the same power output but because of the energy density of the 18650 cells it
doesn't mean a significant increase in weight.

The only issue I personally have with hobbyking packs is the shelf life of packs stored with charge and there resistance
to puffing for no good reason.

Not true. Left off the charger a few hours a full battery is 12.7-12.8V, empty is 11.9V.
I don't know what I was thinking; I'm sure you're right. Been too long since I actually stuck a meter on SLA, I guess.

You are best off just buying a good battery like a Cellman A123 as it will be more trouble free and cheaper in the long road. As to give you a yes answer to met your needs and questions to shape a hobby battery as it's harder for everybody to give a yes answer for you. It's best off to get a plug and play from all your questions.
