Which hall sensor?

New to ebike repair, so this is probably a pretty basic question for most of you, but any help is surely appreciated! If you find out you need to replace a hall sensor, how do you know which one to use? Do all 3 have to match? What criteria do you need to follow? Thank you!

You read the lettering on the hall sensor itself and buy the matching one.
Try to have all 3 match but I am sure there are circumstances you can get away with mismatched.
