Our president elect has promised high tariffs on imports. Say these come about within 3 months of his inauguration.

We do have some time to get our purchases before $$$ go up.

I just got a Black Friday offer from SIAECOSYS QS motors.
See: SiAECOSYS Electric Powertrain Store - Amazing products with exclusive discounts on AliExpress

But since I don’t like doing business thru AlibabiEx, I contacted the SISACosys agent that sent me the flyer requesting a direct purchase from them. You will save $$ but you have to make an international wire outgoing transfer for a fee $35.00.

His address is jasmine@siaecosys.com.

I ordered 2- QS2000 V3 motors for $556.50 including air delivery at $140 for both motors. AlibabiEx ($169.44)/motor simply doubled air freight last time I went through posing an order.

From AlibabiEX:

P. S. If you have any confused about the shipping cost, please feel free to contact with us. Also could place order but don't pay first, then we could adjust the price.

Yes, from AlibabiEx the elusive, “…then we could adjust price”

Hey.. i have an existing thread on this:
The age of cheap Chinese stuff is ending in the USA

The previous administration added lots of tarrifs to Chinese high tech goods.. many western countries seem to be following this direction.

I also recommend buying stuff now before the full brunt of the tariffs kicks in.

I noticed that prices are falling ahead of the tariffs. I’ve been working on and off on my backyard shed solar project, while also researching components. I notice LiFEPO4 batteries coming down and they are 1/3 the price as last year. One YouTube reviewer said, “get them now, the tariffs are coming”, after which I put two and two together, and hit the buy button. They may go lower, but I decided to pull the trigger anyway.
