I just spoke to Patrick at Redfish about their wireless multimeters. The product below has been discontinued.
The new model will be Bluetooth, instead of wifi and will have the capability to Twit failure or change values to you. You can also use it for a digital dashboard on an EV. It is iOS and Android compatible. Patrick is checking into building a more optioned device for EV dashboards.
The new model multimeter will go on sale this summer at Home Depot and other big box stores for around $130.00.

This dashboard capable multimeter design, below, looks very promising and the price is right. It is crowd funding at the moment on Kickstarter.
What is very inventive about these wireless multimeters is that they can automatically set off silent or audible alarms and can also send you an email to warn you about changes in voltages and mechanical movements.
