I've had this board on the bench for a long time and I think I'm happy with it now. It's a super mellow cruiser. Rode it 8 miles today around the neighborhood and couldn't make it feel sketchy  With a 245kv motor @ 22v and 75mm wheels the Lagrange will only do 23mph but this board is fun.
Here's the parts breakdown:

Ehler's 39" wheelbase speedboard
Lagrange L1 rear truck/Surf Rodz precision front truck
Tacon Bigfoot 160 motor
Mamba Monster2 ESC
2 6s 5000mah Zippy Compact batteries
These 75mm wheels

That is a nice board.
Wood is under-rated as a material .
Nicely done.
Please, pull the access panel and show us the inner workings.

You got it!

Clean set-up!
Is your speed controller protecting your batteries?
I am asking because I am currently trying to figure
out the best way to keep my batteries protected AND
informing me as to when I am half way from home.

Yeah, I have my voltage cut-off set to 3.4v. When it dips below that the motor cuts out. I've always been able to easily push back to the car or home. Absolutely no resistance from the belt or motor on this board. You may want to buy one of these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...8s_US_Warehouse_.html?strSearch=voltage alarm
