Wrong tech name, where did the delete thread option go?

Sometimes the delete button is there, other times its not.
At the bottom of the text portion of your post/thread, you can see your options
Report----Edit----Delete
but sometimes the delete button aint there.
Not all the time, just sometimes..... that is what I have noticed.
Once a post has been posted after you posted, obviously you can't delete.
The (Report-----Edit------Delete) buttons are easily available now in this version of the es user interface,
I believe the last version you had to click on Edit in order to delete your post, now you can delete without clicking on edit.
