Dear members,

I would like to kindly ask you, if anybody can share shortcut how to reset Yamaha ebike error.
I was pushing to hard my ebike and so chain jumped over a tooth, that's probably doesn't look like problem but controller recognized it as failure so immediately I was receiving Error 28 on my LCD and no assist.
I called my seller, took bike and in 5 mins problem was solved. Probably some values have been over limit and error occurred.
He didn't want to share what's the miracle.

If anyone know what's key combination, please share. Thanks

Probably just disconnect the controller from the battery and plug a resistance to discharge the caps. I doubt that it would have a memory of the error after being unpowered, If it does, it might need a programming software, and a data cable to match a connector that you will find unused on the controller right now.

I am sure, they didn't disconnect any cable, it was just some key combination.
I recall, pushing "S" together with some other button / buttons. Don't know if from off state or already turned on.
