Hi All,

I want to disconnect motor from controller with just one plug.
So this plug should contain high current pins (phase) and low current pins (hall sensor).
So generally it must have 3 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 9 pins or more
And phase pin should be more that 50A DC rating.

I made a quick search through the forum. I didn't found any solutions.

I started searching through Amphenol sockets but cheep variants are low current and high current are more that 500 eur each.
I am still searching...

Maybe anyone has any ideas? Any china analogs?

I don't want to spend my time to disconnect my motor from controller disconnecting each wire.
Of course i can use two plugs. One high current and other for hall sensor.
But i don't like that way :)

HEllo E-HP and thanks for reply

This solution is very good.
I will leave this link for myself to find it

https://www.higoconnector.com/products/l1019dg-p-00-bx-1000/x099K#title

I will order this and test.
It would be ideal to find something similar but with ability to attach it with bolts to the case.

If you mean bolting the 3 heavier phase wires to the controller phase terminals, you can crimp lugs onto them easily enough.

I've used these successfully, though there are certainly better crimpers out there

and these lugs worked alright; there are lots of different sizes depending on the terminal bolt size and the wire gauge to go in the lug.

If you mean something else, let us know.

Hello amberwolf

Thanks for reply.
My message was a bit incorrect.
I was meaning that it would be nice to find a connector which would be possible to bolt to a case.
Here is the illustration
I marked with red circles the holes for bolts.

My controller and batteries are in a wood case (custom made). I would like to bolt a connector to a wood case.

A place in germany, I think something like ebikesolutions, has panel-mount versions of many of the Higo / Julet connectors. Maybe they have one for the motor phase/hall type.

Panel Mount Mill-Spec connectors. They are commonly used in industrial applications and they are expensive. However there are all sorts on "Panel Mount" automotive connectors that you could look at.

The other alternative is using a 3D printer to make something that is "Panel Mount" that encases a more common connector like an XT-60, M-60 or XT-90. There are several vendors that sell those on EBAY. The same sort of thing could be done for the Z910, L10 or Julet connectors.

I will use this topic to post temporary search results of a perfect connector.

Currently found this manufacturer.

Phoenix contact

This connectors is cheap enough although has some drawbacks.

Wrong pin contact number
Crimp instead of solder
Low current 30A, must be 40A or more

There is always Cannon Combo-D

Made by Cannon, Amphenol, Tyco, International Rectifier, ect. Its always been there. Will always be here. I use them. The crimper costs 490$ and the turret for the head is another 200$. You can get tehm in solder cup too, not the barrel crimp but I like the barrel crimps.

Pins are then 1$ - 30$ ea. High or low density. Used daily in very high reliability requirement situations ( military equipment).
I have them and use them. Never fail. They are gold.
