Didn't think I was going to get anything done today. Still waiting on...
Brake adapter to be machined.
Front wheels to be delivered.
I thought this list was going to be bigger lol. Front wheel delivery is holding up the whole front end, handlebars, etc.
Fibreglass came today. Couldn't wait for my staple gun so started glassing the shape. You can see the massive air scoop at the front to let cold air into the enclosure.
I cut another blue box up and stuck ends on the side to kinda balance out the width of the battery box. Screwed the hinge in place for the lid.
Once dried I'll start removing the tape and finish off glassing the shape, then will start on the CSM to strengthen. Then comes the filler and sanding [emoji24].
2 more layers of CSM and the fuselage is solid as a rock. Couple corners that could do with a little patch and then time for filler and sandpaper.
Undecided what I'm going to do with the cables hence why they're coiled up at the bottom.
Everytime I have an electrical job on this build I say the same thing to myself. Why oh why oh why did you chop the standard connectors you twat. It has made it soo much harder.
Only a bracket for the front caliper to do then it's good for the road.
Then I'll work on the lid for battery, filler and sanding and figuring out where I want the cables to go. Oh and re trim the seat.
