If its a 450-5-15

Then here's a place... http://www.bearingstation.co.uk/Products/Belts/Timing_Belts/5M/PHG450-5M-15

If its not 450 then have a look at the index page and select the correct length

Some of the website pics are old, and do not include the idler. If you have even modest fabrication skills, it's worth considering to spend a little more and switch to a chain and copy one of the several idler set-ups that have only a small amount of slop.

At stock power levels, the belt should last an acceptable length of time, but a switch to a chain should last for years and will handle higher power, should you ever want to upgrade.

Between a STOCK belt with way too much wrap on an idler wheel, and a shorter belt with no wrap at all, the difference is 475mm to 450mm. I'd suggest a belt around 456-460 with a spring-loaded idler (with shorter being better than longer).

thanks m8s ,, i have bought 2 for spares now ,, :D :D

would still be nice if any one find a uk supplier in the future though ,, im wondering if it is possible to find a car that has them fitted,, i will have to look further into this ,,

Lol... The links I gave are UK with 1st and 2nd class delivery options, but I do see the logic of converting to a chain

how did you get on with the 450-5-5m belt ?? did it last any longer ??

I don't have a GNG. I only posted that pic to help answer a question. I started the GNG thread because I thought it was not well advertised and I felt if it were better known it would be perfect for a lot of potential E-bikers.

I have been waiting to see how others improve the kit before jumping in myself, but recently I have gone in a different direction. A custom BB-drive with a converted MAC...should have no primary drive problems, and "should" be capable of 2,000W continuous when the motor is given some gears to keep its RPM's up across the bikes entire speed range.
