Was wondering if anyone has a good source for thin metal strips like they spot weld to those 18650 batteries to in the duct tape packs. Having trouble finding a non-wholesale source. Just need a few little strips to reconnect a group into my battery.

Got any old dead laptop batteries around? VHS video cameras? Power tools packs? Most of them will be put together with the spot-welded nickel strips you're looking for. If you don't care about the pack in the device, just break the spot welds by gently prying up at the end of each cell, until you have a strip long enough to do what you want (assuming there is one long enough in the pack to start with).
