Hello all,
I am wondering if anyone has ordered a battery from these guys at enduroebike.com. It is not the actual Enduro ebike page but the chinese diy page. They have a monster 72v battery that comes with a large battery box with it as well. It isnt over $2k so I wonder about the cell quality.

I'm guessing that the monster 72v battery you're talking about is the Panasonic GA 72v70ah battery? I have that battery but the 72v49ah version as I wasn't sure if the 70ah will fit in my frame (they are designed for the enduro frames with plastic panels, my frame is the one with metal panels so they have narrower opening). I didn't buy the battery directly from them but instead through their AliExpress store however they took down a lot of their items from AliExpress because they were tired of people making false disputes, they only have few small items on there now.

When I did get my battery first thing I did was open it up to verify the cells (they are indeed panasonic ncr18650ga), build construction and the BMS and they are excatly as described and the build construction is excatly the same as they show on the images, they do actually have those copper plates inside. I had this battery for about 5-6 months that I use on almost daily basis (it's my daily commuter) and haven't had any issues or problems, it's been working perfectly.

The only complaint that I have is that they are not using a bluetooth BMS for that kind of battery, it would be easier to monitor the health of it and status but the BMS that they do use is active balancing which is good. Also keep in mind that the prices shown on their website is not final, they don't include tax/import duties, shipping and payment fee (no payment fee if you use bank transfer). Some of those fees are added at checkout, I'm unsure if they handle tax/import duties or if the buyer does, when I bought it from AliExpress, tax/import duties were included so it's probably the same if you buy it directly from them but you can ask them to be sure.

Nice! Thats awesome it turned out to be as they said it was. You are absolutely correct its that 70ah one. I have metal panels as well. Who needs a large metal box around the battery anyways! Thats for the info.
With the 49ah battery, one of the corners is ever so slightly too high to clear the opening it's about 1/4 of an inch too high. I simply twist the battery 45 degrees sideways which allows it to clear the opening, once it clears it I straightened the battery and lower it into it's spot. I'm unsure how much bigger the 70ah battery is, it might require cutting or grinding down the lip that sits behind the side panels for the battery to clear it, if you plan to get it I would contact them and ask for the dimensions of the pack alone (not the metal container), make a mock up out of cardboard using those dimensions and see if it will fit or not in your frame.

I also made my own battery platform using some 1.5mm steel, drilled few holes and welded nuts over those holes, I strapped the battery to that platform using 1 inch rachet straps then bolt that platform to my bike using those nuts as threads so mounting these batteries inside the metal panel frame does require a bit of fabrication, it's plug & play for the plastic side panels frames as they are designed for those frames.

Also keep in mind that with the 70ah battery you will have absolutely no room for controller inside so if your current controller is mounted inside then you'll need to move it to the belly of the frame, with that battery inside you'll have enough room for a DC-DC converter and that's pretty much it.

I was thinking id need to mock it up to see if i can manage to fit it. Idk if it will... I have a 44.5 in there now and that was difficult with the controller mounted inside. I think i will have to make a new seat frame first and then i could put the controller in there like that Garmata seat and frame. Have you had any luck with aftermarket seats on yours? Im not a big fan of the moto seat really. I dig the look but the comfort isnt really there and it mounts at a ridiculous angle so it pushes me forward. I plan on making a new frame for whichever seat I find that will still look good on it.

I'm not a huge fan of the moto seat either, I would upgrade to the Garmata one but they use 740mm seat rather than 560mm like the standard moto seat is and the extra lenght goes over the frame rather than rear of the bike and I just don't like how that looks, if I do get the Garmata seat I'll try to get a shorter seat for it.

You can lower the rear angle of the moto seat by getting a shorter shock, not sure how long your shock is but these frames typically come with 200mm shock, you could swap it out for 190mm shock for example, whille 10mm doesn't sound much, it will drop the rear angle of the seat by an inch or inch and a half and it will make the seat more flat rather than angled towards the front making you slide down it.

It's unfortunate that the standard moto seat and the Garmata seat are the only choices, I would love to have more choices from different manufacturers.

I was thinking the same about the garmata seat. I recall reading about what aftermarket seats fit this frame and apparently some sort of honda seat will fit it but i cant find it again so Idk. Which is why i may have to weld a new frame together, but to also have storage space would be nice so maybe making a frame would be best?

Tell him you want a Bluetooth BMS I don't know what amp BMS you need but they have them 100 amp 300 amp. Through battery so if the United States has them they're easy to get it shouldn't be hard for China to have them as an offering. I find out you ask Kyle you should pay and then you ask him about the BMS Bluetooth at what amperage you need. Let him think or smell the money without sending them the money pay through a PayPal or something that will guarantee I think you might only have 30 days so order it when you're ready to install it that way you can test it right away in the 30-day. Or so before you can make a complaint. Is good that you have someone who already bought that battery and gives encouraging news yes the 45 aH one.
What is the amp draw of your controller as now the time you make sure the battery the controller in the motor are all compatible on the demand side.

I have a 44.5ah with a 150A controller set to 80A and 160A phase. I think i need to up the phase a bit, it doesnt like hills much at all but it can handle this very steep hill at about 12mph from a stop while on the incline. When i order the new battery i will make sure and ve ready to install it immediately and pay with PayPal. PayPal is the reason i was willing to take a chance on the bike kit i ordered. They even put my photo on the fron page of their website. 6kw motor, i think what that really means is a 3kw to 6kw motor since its the qs 205 50h v3. I dont think it was made to be 6kw but its actually 3 to 6kw while the motor below it would be the 1.5 to 3kw motor. Its a little confusing.

Motor ratings can be puzzling in use and reality. Your QS motor can take really big bursts of wattage it depends if you're stalling the motor because of a hill mud or sand. On flat ground it could take a lot of wattage before it heats up and that's what you worried about heat as heat will melt the inside of the motor.
So in your case you need a temp sensor and a C.A. v3 for temp cutoff to save your motor. So you use 10,000 Watts at a burst for seconds or minutes ? Maybe

Are we read and I couldn't find what voltage your 45 amp your hour battery is can you please give the voltage of your battery. As I must have missed it.
