I got a Bafang M400 motor which has the typical problem of having a faulty torque sensing bottom bracket.
This is recognizable by no pedal assist but walk assist is working and propelling the bike.
I did find a solution to convert the settings with the UART programming software (not the canbus besst tool), this made the bike atleast respond to pedalling again.
But the bike seems to have less power now.
I adjusted the values of the sensitivity of the torque sensor so they are hyper sensitive, effectively converting the bike to cadence sensor. Way cheaper and faster than repairing the actual sensor.
But the bike seems to have lost some power. Has anyone done the same and found a solution? I get the bike to work again, but there's like 20% of the power missing on the lower settings. Current is set at 13A, what could you comfortably run an M400 at?
