    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

ok! I want to install an emergency cut off switch and temp into the brake harness. This allows me to keep my throttle. How does the OSF use the 3 pin brake sensor? Is this closing the circuit sending 5V through to the other side? I was thinking to make a comparator circuit that doesn't...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I powered it up successful this evening, was indeed the tx/rx swapped. Now I can deep dive into the torque issues. Issue was in the 4 way harness itself, and this harness is not needed to program the display with apt tools. Edit: Turns out there was never any torque issues, and my testing...

    TSDZ2B 860C display confusion

Wired are wires. If the "kit" doesn't connect, then it's not really a kit. Kinda sounds like you got ripped off. My motor had reverse m/f, so I had to chop off the connector from my vlcd5 and wire it onto the tsdz2 motor. This involves a multimeter and a pinout diagram. I used a ttl to flash...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Correct, APT burn worked great. The brake/comm error doesn't exist without it. Both files are exact version. I'm thinking my harness just has the tx/rx swapped, but didn't want to cut it again for testing before asking if there was another possibility.

Ok. I flashed the 860 and the TSDZ2 programing tab successfully. I'm getting brake or comm error. Before I tear open my rx/tx lines and swap them, am I missing a setup step somewhere?

    TSDZ2B 860C display confusion

You bought a complete kit? Or pieces? If it's a kit, put it together and test it as is before touching anything. Then look on back of your 860c for the model/version number.

Finally!! Thank you!! It was a ground problem! It flashed no problem.

TSDZ2B Torque not engaging properly even after replacing the sensor.

ok, I can confirm, that I def should be able to do this with APT and the USB TTL. That is the exact thing I see in your photo. I wired mine to a battery, but everyone else is using the booster, so I'm going to try that now since I already have it here anyway. EDIT: Swapping to the booster let...

TSDZ2B Torque not engaging properly even after replacing the sensor.

I found it to be much harder to pedal than the original, and it makes a funny joker laugh when powered. I think the bearing tolerances were off, but I cant test anything since it doesn't even engage. I hope to test it more this weekend.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I have an old display 860C V1.6, been in a box for 5 years and never got around to flashing it. Does anyone know how I get a bootloader on this? I have a CP2102, but it just counts up endlessly on APT burn tools. I am powering the display direct to battery, only the TX/RX connected to the...

TSDZ2B Torque not engaging properly even after replacing the sensor.

I ran a TSDZ2 on my old bike for a few years and loved it, but when i built my new bike, decided to try out the TSDZ2B w/ brass. Its been pretty trash since day 1, but I stuck with it since I spent so much money. This week I decided to swap out the brass for white gear to see if I could solve...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I have an older TSDZ2 with 8 pin throttle and and old 860 display. I spliced the VLCD5 connector onto the TDSZ2 motor and connected everything with a 1 to 4 bafang adapter. I bought the 860 with the motor and just never did the mod. With the Java setup do I select 850 for display? Can someone...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Can someone point me in the direction of how to use a gear sensor with the TSDZ2? Can I splice it together with the ebrake so they cut off either way?

    Panasonic XU1 Mods

https://cycle.panasonic.com/products/exu/ What are the typical ways to remove the limiter? I really don't feel like building an entire bike when I already own this one. It currently cuts out at 20km/h. I do have experience building boards and wiring, so happy with very DIY solutions.
