Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motors

I think the fins should be pointed towards the way of going, not to the sides. Not only because of the air resistance, but the same drag generates heat, which greatly affects efficiency of what they were designed for in the first place. If you must do it this way for easy manufacturing, at...

Thank you macribs! I'll check it out. @scrambler Arthur should answer this, but as I'm at page 45 of his dedicated thread, what I can tell is the different models were an early days concept that was discarded shortly. Now there's only Typhoon v2.0 if you get the entire bike from Vector, or you...

We both posted in the same time. I edit it :"wide side covers". I can't stop thinking about the gravel thrown by the wheel, rain and dust exposure, crash exposure. After all, it's a $745 piece of equipment.

Thank you scrambler! I really do. If I take cables in consideration it means I can't fit them. That means that I have to choose : wide covers external controller hot glue I'll think about it... Thank you again! Arthur, can I have a picture of the wide side covers installed? It seems nobody...

First, thank you all for your time! I'm really not a fan of the wider covers. Eyeballing, and knowing that every cell has 20mm now (with spacers) instead of 18mm, I definitely can't fit 5X (4X15). 5X (5X12) might fit, but definitely no room for controller 5X (6X10) definitely fit. 3 laid flat...

Tom, thank you for the link and info! I see the spacers are 20mm X 20mm. Arthur, are your batteries in holders (spacers)? If yours fit with the MAX-E, so should mine. Anyway, if one cell goes south, them being hot glued seem to be as much of a problem as the holders being laced between the...

20s15p, like your battery. Why change something that is a proven good design?

I talked to Arthur that I would like to get the battery made from NCRGA cells and since he can't do it at the moment, I'm going to build my own. I bought 300 cells, and since I don't have the frame yet, any of you guys can help me decide how to build it? Will it fit in the frame if I split...

It sure is... I'm a future owner of a Vector bike. I'll just lurk here for 2-3 months until I get enough money to buy all the parts from you.

I can't seem to find this info anywhere. Is the frame painted or powder coated?

Qulbix Q76R Frame Kits & Complete Bikes PRE-ORDER

@ Merlin & Offroader Thank you for your answers. I like the idea of cheap and durable tires, but I want to ride it in the sand and snow without the chance of getting stuck. Can you recommend a motocross tire size that can do that, or a place to research myself?

    Full suspension custom fat ebike

Well, searching for the perfect commercial frame I realized it does not exist (at this moment). There are some that almost fit my needs, but they're too expensive for me to accept their little imperfections. So, I decided to build my own frame. 15 years ago the government made me take a welding...

    Full Suspension Fat Bikes!

You want a FS fat bike? With my luck, as soon as I buy a hard tail, an easy to convert and affordable FS fat bike will appear on the market. And I mean the next day, two days the most. Must... stay... strong... A week ago I've sent around 30 emails to fat bike manufacturers asking if there is a...
