I saw those type of 12v lithium packs the other day as well and they were being used in a set of 6 for a 72v pack like the lead acids. Think they have a bms in each battery from what I read but not 100% sure as it wasn't clear from the info.

For comparison, Sondors Metacycle E-Moto used the EM200 2 SP with a 8kw motor (14.5 peak) and 4000 wh battery. Top speed of about 70mph, 300lbs weight.

Depends what the stock bike uses. Not sure what Energica or some of the other E-Moto manufacturers use but it could possibly be a custom version of a controller brand like a Fardriver for instance. The Bigger companies like Kawasawki (E1 Ninja) or Zero may have their own controller and bms but...

This seems the most likely. The pack being at 66v, which is unusual, should have been a red flag for me. I knew it was out of the ordinary, but didn't realize it could overcharge. Next time when I check before charging (which I usually do) and the pack is noticably lower than it usually would...
