    have you thought about reversing the motor by putting a fixed motor sprocket on the left side of the wheel and make the right side a freewheel? that would give you the option of pedaling with the motor or using the pedals as "foot holds" while the motor works. wondering what led you to this...

    well, if that's truly the case, then properly explain traction and draw a proper vector diagram for a bike going through a turn. (hint, draw the forces exerted upon the bike at the contact points by the earth) please spare us the agony of having to sift through it all.

    we have similar issues with RC airplanes. the air enters thru the front of the engine cowling and we make the exit hole roughly 2x larger than the intakes. the point is to make sure air flows across the motor. you may or may not need to include baffles to direct the airflow where you want...
