My only experience with Police and pushbikes is when I was run over by a car around 5:00pm in the afternoon. By the time police arrived it was 6:15pm and they booked me for riding at night time without a headlight on my bike.

I know where you are coming from of course, plus I didn't rememeber you had SLA's in there - perhaps if you revisit later and put in lion batteries you might consider a motorcycle fuel tank - just look at the variety out there ;)...

you probably don't want to hear this, but I hate the look of the battery box! Are you sure you can't go to a motorcycle wreckers or something and pick up an old motorcycle fuel tank? You could then cut it somehow so you can get the batteries in there.

To me it seems the Australian kit market is improving, plus depending on exchange rates those that are happy to import from Australia might also find a better deal! 500w $479 & 200w $389 kit including batteries apparently...

Wow.. brings on a whole new meaning to the term horsepower! If that's a real bike, then some people have way too much time on their hands, and I am jealous!

Ok, apparently $1300 then another $150 for delivery as it weighs 33kg's! That 30% more (or so) than $1100 so getting a bit expensive. 33kg's seems a bit heavy too? Are there any detailed online reviews around?
