Aluminum frames can be problematic. The Bafang needs to be held as tight to the downtube as possible when you torque down the clamp that holds in in place... This clamp is steel and has raised ridges that are MEANT to dimple the Edge of the Bottom bracket, so that the Bafang won't shift...
