Hi Forum,

I'm just trying to connect brake and cruise functions on my KT 48V motor controller KT48 KTE-SVP12. I've found this picture, which seems to show where to connect the brake switch to, but I can not find where to connect the cruise switch to. Does anyone know?

Thanks

Krone

After browsing the forum I have found KingQueenWongs schematic and a picture of the circuit board they decoded. I believe the cruise control is labelled the 'Speed Switch' in the above diagram (LEARN in the schematic). I have also read that the learn function may program the motor phase wiring on some controllers too.

I will try this connection tomorrow and hopefully I don't blow out another trace on the circuit board, or worse -_-

Hi again forum,

I hooked up this circuit as pictured to pin 2 of the microcontroller. When I pressed the cruise button it would activate the motor, but I lost the throttle control without the cruise function. After a 2km ride the motor sounded like it lose a phase and I had to pedal home.

After some analysis I noticed that my PCB had a 0ohm resistor instead of a 2.2k resistor, so I thought I might of over heated the microcontroller and caused it to fail. I just ended up purchasing a new controller and when I was soldering over the juliet connector I noticed one of my phases had come unsoldered, so that might of been the fault.

So now I have the new controller T12H purchased from https://www.aliexpress.com/item/400...o.order_list.order_list_main.5.7eba1802r6OSWk and I am setting up cruise control and braking. Cruise control seems to be working fine but braking is not working.

Do I need to solder a jumper on the PCB to enable braking? I think I read that in a post somewhere.

Thanks again,

Krone

So the problem with my brakes was I had connected the wrong black and yellow wires. The controller ships with two sets of black and yellow wires. ^_^
