i tried to post this on reddit and nobody said anything. and i recently found this awesome forum site so here i go.

I got a razor e90 as my first e scooter and i wanted it because it was fairly small and compact platform for upgrades. the front polyurethane wheel is not great and, it its very very bumpy on surfaces. the scooter itself is also very slow but i will make a thread later on this. i saw a few threads that stated you can put a razor e punk front tire on it or possibly a e100 tire. but it seems like i would need a new front fork because it looks like it could be too small for that but correct me if im wrong. i would also like to know if i could throw 24v controller and battery without frying the motor. thanks for reading. i would love some replies.

In pictures, the steering pivot looks like a totally normal bicycle headset. So you can get the fork and wheel from whichever tiny kid's bike of your choosing that has the same diameter, and similar length steer tube (and same type of headset), and swap it in. Note that the bigger you go, the more the deck of your scooter will tilt upwards and the more the steering mast will tilt backwards.

thanks dude. there is a thread were the fork is supposed to go in and you screw it on so do you think this would affect that idea? or an even better idea that i just thought off was to just put on a e100 - e125 - e175 etc front fork. i dont totally know about the diameter but do you think it could be a notable idea?

If those have a similar looking head tube and headset, then they're probably interchangeable. If the length or diameter is different, then probably not.

If it helps, all of the unpowered razor aluminum kick scooters I've collected over the years for parts (mostly found in dumpsters and bulktrash piles, but a few of them were thrown into my yard at various times for whatever reason), have the same diameter and threading as the old 1" threaded bicycle steerers, same headset bearing cups and bearings and other hardware...except that they use a handlebar riser "stem" that is tubular with a slot on the bottom and a "seatpost clamp" affixed to it there, so clamps over the threaded steerer above the bearing / locking hardware. (the handlebars are on a T that slides up and down wihtin this tube, that has another of those clamps at the top end to secure that).

Don'thave any pics of them handy but this one off ebay looks identical to most of them,

and this one from amazon is the same thing with a slghtly different "fork" for bigger wheels

the one powered razor I had that I took apart for pieces also had the same design.

I can't find a pic of it but this trailer hitch used a neck and headtube / etc that was virtually identical, to turn an old mainframe-computer's faceplate into a trailer with some quickie wheelchair wheels. (trailer was a terrible design, don't do this!)

thanks man that's worth taking into consideration too. right now what I'm about to commit to is buying an e100 front fork off eBay, its gonna be a gamble but i would love to hear from somebody that has done this in the past or tried it because its the easiest option in my opinion. but I'm not sure if it would fit and go in completely.
