Induction Cooktop

Faster, yes, mainly due to the cooktop probably having approx double the power rating (2000W typicaly)
But an electric kettle ( water jug ?) would probable be even faster….and much cheaper !
2000w would trip the breaker, will check it i'm wondering myself. Trying to use newer technology don't like them old electric coils.

There should be a tag on the appliance. My $12 Walmart coffee maker.

Model: 512841
120 VAC 60 Hz
900 W

After coffee is done. TURN OFF COFFEE MACHINE! People who leave a 900W coffee maker on all day have high electric bills and BURNT coffee :(

I put coffee in refrigerator and heat a cup in the microwave. Coffee stays good for days, weeks, months?????? in the fridge.

Secret to good coffee. Little packages from restaurant supply place. One package makes a pot of coffee. Open package and coffee is fresh.

I tried for years to get a good coffee maker, if the maker was good the pot did not pour properly, if the pot was good the maker would quit. Went to a French press and aim for the water to be 195 deg. Tag was underneath 1800w.

I like cold coffee, when riding early in the morning, would put cold water and coffee in the French press and leave it sit over night. had a less tannin taste or smother but was good.

Tag was underneath 1800w.
And what was the microwave power rating ?
