    You are correct, but it was the phase-cables that were in the incorrect order. I first connected them color to color, since I bought both parts from the same store, but this was a mistake. It works like a charm now! Thanks :)

    Update: I'm considering building my own battery from either used or new laptop cells. I've seen some youtube clips where people are doing this. It requires a lot of extra work and researching how to do it (at least for me), but this is exactly what I want to do (at least the researching part)...

    Actually, according to swedish customs, there is no taxes if the total cost is < $162 (1400 SEK). I bought a pressure canner from the us three months ago for over $230 but I didn't have to pay anything else, so if I'm lucky I don't have to pay extra fees.
