Noise when running geared motor for the first time

I have just tested my new ebike kit for the first time and unfortunately, the motor makes a not so healthy sound when it runs, see this video: https://youtu.be/ExAoPlnUTvA Anyone have an idea of what can cause this problem? I greatly appreciate any thoughts about this!

The parts I'm using is a 48V 250W brushless geared rear hub motor, 48V 500W brushless controller, LiFePO4 48V 20Ah, Wuxing 48V E-bike Half Twist Throttle

Sounds like a stutter, like you have the halls wires in the wrong order.

A gears problem, that would be the same sound if you just hand spin the wheel backwards.

You are correct, but it was the phase-cables that were in the incorrect order. I first connected them color to color, since I bought both parts from the same store, but this was a mistake. It works like a charm now! Thanks
