Having trouble figuring out how to wire this new controller

Can you be a bit more specific about what your problem is? Are you saying that the bike has those things and you want to know how to wire the controller to them? If so, show pictures of the connectors.

Having trouble figuring out how to wire this new controller

Derailleur means throttle. The power locks might well be the ignition wire (blue), so if you get no 5v on the throttle red when powered, that's probably it, but to be sure you'd have to open the controller and see where the blue wire goes.

    250W 15A motor, 15A controller, 48V 15Ah battery with 30A BMS compatibility?

Just a reminder. One of the failures I saw that sent the rider over the handlebars was on a bumpy trail uphill, so the motor was running slowly with full torque, which had previously been OK, but the extra impact from a bump was enough to pop the drop-outs. In other words, if you care about your...

Display for generic controller from amazon

With that type of controller, there's often an ignition wire that needs to be powered with battery voltage for it to do anything, so if after connecting the battery, you have no 5v on the throttle connector, you need to find the ignition wire. You can use Google to translate the Chinese labels...

How do L-brake and H-brake wires connect?

Anti-theft and/or anything with "lock" in the name is often, though not always, Chinese for ignition wire, which is the wire that needs to be powered with battery voltage that powers the logic side of the controller and the sensors. In other words, if your controller doesn't do anything and...

Battery level indicator stopped working and the motor too

Yes, it's a comms problem. The LCD works independently from the controller, so the controller could be unpowered or there could be a problem on the 5v somewhere or a connection fault or water in the LCD, or a comms wire pulled off. Either way, the first thing to check is the 5v on any connector...

    Bafang DPC-18 Display problem

Bafang mid-drive gets its speed signal from an external wheel magnet sensor. See what happens if you remove the magnet from the spoke or disconnect it. Obviously, you'll get zero speed indicated, but it should then work without speed limit until any sleep timer kicks in, though I don't think...

Help Understanding the Wiring Diagram of the Lights

The old controller doesn't have an onboard MOSFET to switch the lights on and off, so it's using an external one. It's very simple. A MOSFET is like a switch. On your one, when the blue wire is switched on by the CPU, it switches the MOSFET on, which connects the incoming red battery wire to the...

Help plz Trouble getting E-Runner Going again after Tryed replacing Controller

Many controllers have ignition wires that power them. Sometimes they come in a pair with a battery wire so that you can add a switch or bridge them. Sometimes they're on their own. In Chinese English, you often see the word lock on the wiring diagram. You can check whether a controller is...

Is there any reason I should do a front/rear hub road/gravel bike instead of a mid drive road bike or hybrid/mtb

Q128C or AKM128c (same motor) are rated at 500w and can easily handle 48v and 22A. Some people run them at 25A. They give very good torque and good efficiency because they have a high internal reduction ratio. Mine is 10 years old now and is bulletproof. I'd highly recommend one of these motors...

Torque sensor on the throttle pin out of an aftermarket controller?

I don't care what anybody else does, neither do I care how old anything is nor what anybody else thinks. I've been involved in electric bikes for 14 years and ridden just about every type of bike that's available in Europe. I simply judge what's in front of me. That's what I mean by being objective.

Is there any reason I should do a front/rear hub road/gravel bike instead of a mid drive road bike or hybrid/mtb

You shouldn't want to use a direct drive motor with a gravel bike. They're too heavy. A small or medium sized geared hub-motor would be fine. They come in two versions: freewheel motors for up to 7 speeds; cassette motors for 8+ speeds. The spline on a cassette motor is the same as any freehub...

    Replacing Ride1Up Core 5 Controller

It's a Lishui controller, which is pretty crappy. They're generally OEM only. Do what he says above and replace it with a KT controller that has a much better pedal assist function, and you can have a legal pedal-dependent throttle if you live in Europe or anywhere that comes under EN15194, or...

    Low Voltage post crash

You need to check all 13 cell voltages, which you can get from where the balance leads are connected. That should give a good indication of wher to look for a solution. The 40.7v is pretty meaningless. It's probably just leakage through the switched off MOSFETs. You need to put a small load on...

A2B hybrid 26 .display will not turn on

Firstly. LCDs generally work independently of the controller, since they're the switch to switch on the power to the controller, so if the LCD is completely dead, it normally means that the battery voltage isn't reaching to it. Secondly, IIRC, A2B use CANbus comms, so not any battery will work...

    250W 15A motor, 15A controller, 48V 15Ah battery with 30A BMS compatibility?

If you have a choice, a rear motor is always better. It's safer, has better traction, gives better steering, makes less noise (apparent), and doesn't comromise the front suspension. If you must use a front 250w motor, you should always use a torque arm with aluminium forks. Not all forks are...

Torque sensor on the throttle pin out of an aftermarket controller?

Just a final comment. Some people like torque sensors. I have one on my crank-drive, and I have a cadence sensor on my hub-motor bike with a standard KT controller. Both run at about the same power. I've ridden many hundreds of ebikes of every type looking for one that gives me what I want. For...

Is there any reason I should do a front/rear hub road/gravel bike instead of a mid drive road bike or hybrid/mtb

I have an unassisted gravel bike and an assisted MTB. The effort to pedal the gravel bike is about the same as my MTB with the power on level 1, which is about 120w. That's pedalling uphill at the same speed. Downhill, the gravel bike gains from its lower drag, so is quite a lot faster. In...

    250W 15A motor, 15A controller, 48V 15Ah battery with 30A BMS compatibility?

OP has a geared motor. The higher torque makes them slip. DD motors are not so bad, but the bigger axle breaks aluminium forks very easily unless you have good reinforcement. It's difficult to keep weight on the front wheel when you're going up a hill, which is when you need the power the most...
