How do L-brake and H-brake wires connect?

As in the title. It seems nearly every Chinese controller has these connections but how do they connect/what function do they serve? Are they related to regen braking or if regen is working does one supply 12v to operate a brake light? (saw something like that in a posting somewhere). The same could be asked about other connectors like 'alarm' connections. Too bad these (often good) controllers never have any documentation.

Thanks. Must have been my wording on the search but I have since managed to find info about this. Still no clue as to how 'anti-theft power supply and 'anti-theft signal' work/connect.

Sorry, I'll hold it a little closer...

#14 was easy enough, just an unswitched constant power/ground, a multi meter solved that one.
#10 is still a bit of a mystery, Anti theft signal from where? Does it require more hardware or once connected will it magnetically 'lock' the wheel when the power is turned off?
#4, 5, 7 and 8 would be nice to understand their function as well. Are they for speedo readout?

It's a great budget sine wave controller which I purchased here on Aliexpress

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed.

Picture doesn't show up, but as far as the alarm goes, some need a signal from the motor that someone is trying to move the bike, before doing whatever it's supposed to do (siren, lock the wheel, etc.). The signal comes from the phase current when the wheel turns. I have no experience with any of the alarm stuff, but recall reading something, maybe in one of the Sabvoton or some other controller's manuals at one point.

Anti-theft and/or anything with "lock" in the name is often, though not always, Chinese for ignition wire, which is the wire that needs to be powered with battery voltage that powers the logic side of the controller and the sensors. In other words, if your controller doesn't do anything and there is no 5v, you need to get battery voltage to that wire. Sometimes, it's a connector with two wires: one has the battery voltage and the other is the ignition wire, often red and pink or orange, so you can put an on/off switch on that connector.

Yes, I suspected that may happen, there was no jpeg on the web site, only a .web or something like that. It opens if you follow the link but does not show on the forum.
